Computer visualization can be an invaluable aid in resolving disputes or gaining regulatory or public acceptance involving complex and/or highly technical projects, often resulting in substantial savings of time and money.

LFR offers expert computer visualization services using the Environmental Visualization System (EVS) by Ctech, Inc., to process computer model output and to display historical data. EVS unites state-of-the art analysis, visualization, GIS, and animation tools into an extremely powerful software system. LFR offers this tool to our clients to provide an effective tool for analyzing and illustrating data for assessments, remediation planning, computer model output, litigation support, regulatory reporting, and public relations presentations. Lithology, flow, and analytical data may be viewed in three dimensions, with virtually unlimited zoom, rotational, and animation capabilities.

LFR can integrate GIS information such as digital elevation model data and aerial photographs into EVS and perform interface directly with queries from Microsoft Access™ databases, so that any parameter in any timeframe can be easily visualized. EVS also has a "probe" feature which enables zooming in to any well or even soil sample, then clicking on the sample to display a window pop-up showing the sample ID and associated data.

LFR offers expertise utilizing this unique software. In a recent vendor-sponsored contest one of our EVS experts took first place for best visual animation. Click here to see the winning visuals.
